My Mum: Heather Frances LAWLER

I know this is a long shot, but maybe someone can help me...
My g g g g g g grandparents, David HALL (born 5 August 1681 in St Ninians) and Agnes ANDERSON (born abt. 1687 in Kirktown, St Ninians) were married on 12 Mar 1708 in Bannockburn.
I believe David's parents were David HALL and Elizabeth KER.
Any information about this family would be appreciated, along with any ideas as to how I should proceed.

I looked for possible births for David Senior’s Father (who married Elizabeth Ker) basing his date of birth to be approx 20 years before the birth of their first child (+/- 5 years) but couldn’t find any David’s born in St. Ninian’s Parish, or Stirlingshire.
The only one listed in this timeframe is the following:

I then looked to see if I could find the birth of Elizabeth Ker but there were no listings of any either in St. Ninian’s, Stirlingshire in general, or Lanarkshire.

Next I had a look to see if I could find children born to David’s son John (born 1713). There were 2 David Halls in St. Ninians at the time, one married to Mary Riddoch, the other married to Margaret Watson.
