Hi folks, I find the dumgal site ( dumfries and galloway council ) brilliant for looking up a census, just type in the area and name you are looking for.

On its home page their is useful information to Scotland's Presbyterians to think about.

The marriage link is also worth having a look at, as some refer to people from the Dumfrisshire parishes.
