Edward John KING.
« on: Wednesday 14 September 05 04:05 BST (UK) »

Born 3/3/1844 in Cockfield to parents Samuel and Elizabeth, their 5th child.
1851 Census shows him as a boarder and scholar at Rectory Green,Cockfield.
1861 Census places him as a lodger with a Charles Hampton and his family at Hope Villas,Hackney,London, then he disappears with no Death Reg entry found
BUT my gggrandfarther Edward John King turns up in New Zealand in 1865 and marry's in May of 1866,age 22yo.He dies suddenly in August of 1880,age 36yo with the Death Cert giving his age as 36yo and his parents being Samuel and Elizabeth King and him being resident in New Zealand for 17years which would place his arrival here around 1863 when he would have been 19yo.Are these 2 individuals one and the same.Any leads/thoughts etc greatly appreciated,Cheers,Wayne
