Hi there,
Can some kind soul possibly help with any info on my husbands great-grandfather.
John Louis Sheridan was born in Birmingham around 1873.
Any help much appreciated

You don't say what info you already have & what specifically you are seeking.
This looks like a marriage for him:
John Louis SHERIDAN 1896 March quarter
Solihull Vol 6d Page 643
By obtaining the cert, you will get a more accurate idea of his date of birth, his father's name & occupation.
In 1881 there is not a match for him, although there are a couple of likely matches born Cheshire.
