FILE - Court papers, including settlement papers (78 docs). - ref.  PS/MN/1A/3/1-62  - date: 1841-1842
item: Information and complaint for theft, Thomas Holliday and Jesse Prior, both of East Hagbourne - ref.  PS/MN/1A/3/20  - date: 15 April 1842

Thank you!

Hi Martha,
I was looking through rootschat and saw your post, i've got no plans to go to the Berks Record Office at the moment but Jesse Prior b1825 in Steventon was the brother of my gg grandmother, his father was Israel prior b 1799 in Steventon.
Hagbourne, Steventon, Abingdon and Drayton are within a few miles of each other, same Jesse ? what do you think ?
                  Regards.
                      Stu.

Hello!

Sorry I have not been responding here - I have just returned from two weeks holiday.  It was lovely, but I now have a lot of catching up to do!

Thank you newbie for all your help.  That is fantastic.  I wonder what happened to the accused Jesse?  I will respond to your PM.

Stucol - could be the same guy!  I don't have my notes in front of me, but I will have a look when I get home.
