George Henry Townrow Look-Up

I followed up some much needed and quite good advice. I was told (as I am looking for distant cousins) to go on infobel and search for the name 'Townrow' in places where your family came from.

I checked in both Nottingham and Sheffield and found 9 in total. I wrote to each house in turn and this morning got back a letter with someones family tree.

It wasn't a full tree just a part tree but non-the-less enough to go by. The person who wrote back said that they didn't know if we were related but stood a good chance that we where, I am just now trying to find the connection.

The head family member was a George Henry Townrow who married a Lucy Wills, no dob or place was given but underneath they had a son, Gorge William who was born 02/09/1913 in Lincolnshire this I believe where George snr came from.

Could George Henry Townrow be looked up in a 1901 census for Lincolnshire, I attempted to look but the site wouldn't load, someone may have  better luck!

just tried 1901 census- george townrow - no results

at freeBMD 34 results came up Grin

do you know what part of lincolnshire? i could maybe find out more. I live in lincolnshire and could go see the census results at the library and the birth marriage and deaths for this area.

I'm sorry but I don't, all it said was Lincolnshire.
