I am trying to find Martha Farwell Budden born c 1860 in Christchurch and her son Charles Henry Budden born c 1890. They were visiting Louisa Butcher in Merley in 1891 but despite many name searches, assuming Martha may have remarried they seem to have disappeared. Has anyone found them in 1901 ?
Any information would be helpful.
Many thanks, Geoff.

I am using Ancestry to access the census records and in 1891 in District 2 in Canford Magna all were noted as BULCHER !
In fact there are Louisa Butcher-Widow-aged 45-born Merley Walter Frederick Butcher, son aged 17-born Merley Martha Farwell Budden-Widow aged 30 and a visitor-born Christchurch Charles Henry Budden-son-aged 8months-born Christchurch
I am really keen to follow this up as I have found Louisa was a Joy and I have Joy connections but am not aware of this one !
I cannot find Louisa in the 1901 either !
Hope this is of help and many thanks for your interest. Regards, Geoff.

Hi ec, Yes you are correct. Martha was a Bagshot. I too think that it was my Charles who died in Poole in 1890 and am just about to send away for a certificate. Regards, Geoff.
