I don't know. I would assume that the children were born in Chester but I am not sure about Ann.  James and Ann married at St Oswald Chester in 1845

I know it's not what you're looking for, but is this the same family?

Edward Bingley  32  Cheshire, England     Son Chester St Mary on the Hill     Cheshire
Ellen Bingley    77 Rossett, Denbighshire, Wales   Head Chester St Mary on the Hill    Cheshire
William Jonas    abt 79    Rossett, Denbighshire, Wales    Brother Chester St Mary on the Hill

I can also confirm from 1871 that all James Bingley's family were born in Chester. I've searched the whole of District 13 of St Mary Chester in the 1861 census, which is where they were living in Copperas Court in 1871,  but no joy I'm afraid.

Thanks for looking. If you have found the 1871 census for James and his family I would very much appreciate the details.

I have searched everywhere and cannot find James Bingley and his family in the 1861 census.  I feel I need the help of a 'Sherlock Holmes' to find him. In 1851 he lived with his family in Handbridge and in 1871 they were living in Copperas Court Chester.

Can anyone help?
