hi can anyone do a lookup for william and amy keane who em in the 1920's melbourne i think.william was born 1898 salford. thanks any help would be great.

Hello again bassett,
Thank you for your PM with the names of the parents of William KEANE, and what you understand to be Amy's maiden name. It would be a good idea to post them in case somebody can help.
I cannot find them in the Victorian Death Index (1921-1985) CD but they may have lived past that date. This death index lists age, and names of parents (if known); it does not list birthplace.
Indexes are available online (pay only to view results) at:
http://www.dvc.vic.gov.au/bdm.htm
but births until 1924 only, marriages to 1942, and deaths to 1985.
NSW indexes are online free at:
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/
but the searchable indexes go only until 1905 for births, and 1945 for marriages and deaths.
