Stephens Family, Holmbush, St Austell
« on: Thursday 12 August 04 10:15 UTC (UK) »

I am researching ancestors of mine from St Austell by the name of Stephens.
George stephens (a miner) and his wife Elizabeth (Betty) had the following children:
George (1822), Jane Bate Stephens (1826), Robert (1829) and Walter (1832).
Elizabeth with Jane, George junior and Robert appear in the 1841 census in Holmbush. I've no idea where George senior was, possibly he had died.
If anyone has any information about this family, origins or what happened to them I would love to know. A marriage between George and Elizabeth would be great! Thanks.
