My Harris family is proving very elusive.
I have information on my ancestor, Edward Harris born 1794 Castle Bytham but very little on his siblings. If anybody could come up with anything at all I would be most grateful.
John Harris born 1785 CB
Elizabeth Harris born 1786 CB
William Harris born 1788 CB
Mary Harris born 1791 CB
Robert Harris born 1792 CB
Samuel Harris born1795 CB
Hannah Harris born 1800 CB
Francis Harris born 1803 CB
I have baptisms from the IGI but that's all.

It's awkward as there was more than one HARRIS family in Castle Bytham, as these burials illustrate
1814 Edward (14), Elizabeth (15),
1817 John (65)
However, the John that Floss found in 1861 appears to be OK. As Thomas was his grandson, this would appear to be a son of John's in 1851.

Thank you for the look-up.
This family is proving to be a bit of a pain. The same names run throughout the family and ages and places of birth change from one census to the next.
The John that Fiona found does seem to tie with with my request but from other census returns I have I believe this John was born 1793 in North Witham. He married Charlotte Sharp (whose age has remained consistent but whose place of birth has changed from Little Bytham to Aslackby. Unless of course my John did marry another Charlotte who was born in the same year as the other Charlotte. What are the chances of that!
Isn't family history wonderful. Always a challenge around the corner.
