Well heres a quick first attempt.
Enlarged, lightened, sharpened a bit and sepia'd
|
In Sussex - Robins, Willis, Hills, Winchester, Harwood, Breden, Jupp, Matthews, Windsor, Dove, Duly, Baker and lots more. In London - Scully, Day, Emery, Alger All Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Not much different - small size doen't help (my excuse!!) Not sure what to do with the bottom bit - so just extended it!!

Hi
I don't think mine is any better. Is it possible to scan at a higher resolution 300dpi and save it as a jpg rather than a pdf? We could then do much better with it.
