Hi,
I don't want to order another certificate at the moment, so I was wondering if there are any ideas how to find this person otherwise.
Emma Maria Balls, buried Dec 1906, age 48 - at Stow Maries
(birth year - around 1858)
- she married Jethro Firmin in 1881 Lexden, Essex
(he was born in Fordham, died at Wickham Bishops)
I have him in the 1881 census (in Fordham) & they weren't married by then.
Maybe Emma Balls was in the Lexden area for 1881?
After lots of trying, Jethro & Emma, and their children can't be found in the 1891 or 1901 census.
Any ideas how to get anything else on her, 1881 census or before?
If not, I'll have to eventually order their marriage cert one day!
