Hi Kristin,

Checked the index - there's no mention of the surname Whisker, but I found two references to the surname Shields, as follows:

SHIELDS James of the parish of Coniston, East Riding Quarter Sessions 1836 Midsummer, transported for life

SHIELDS Robert, alias John Robert SHIELDS, of the parish of Gt Driffield, East Riding Quarter Sessions 1846 Michaelmas, transported for 10 years
