Am looking for details of ggg grandfather Alfred Tullett  lived in Cowfold,Sussex married to Elizabeth - had at least one son - Frederick, + more children.

Anyone with any info would be great t ohear from you.

Thanks for the rapid response - looks like this could be the one. - date I have for Frederick is b.1882 which adds up.

Any Idea how I can get Elizabeth's maiden name.

Here they are in 1881 - mistranscribed as Suttle, enumerator has a pencil line through the surname on the image  Huh

Looks good to me - Any thoughts about why there's no wife (alfred's mother) listed? Or how I can find James' parents in Slaugham - An area I know really well.

On Freebmd there is a marriage between Alfred Tullet and Elizabeth Taylor  Sept Quar 1873 in Horsham 2b 437.

This looks like Alfreds marriage with this reference you can order the cert.

Sept Qtr 1873 - Horsham Reg Dist  Vol 2b  page 437
Alfred Tullett -  Elizabeth Burton
both names appear under the same ref no.

RG10/1062  Folio 103  p18 - under the name of Tulett this time

James Tulett - H - M - age 57 - Gardner born Horsham
Ellen - Wife - age 51 - born Cowfold
Alfred - Son - 18 - Ag Lab - born Cowfold

looks like James re married
