Robert is the only entry in that batch, with father Thomas. But as this couple moved around, and Boldon is so close to Bishopwearmouth, I thought it was worth considering.

Hi, I'm tempted to think so too. However, Robert's MI states:
In memory of Robert Meggison of Hardwick Mill who died Aug. 7, 1792 aged 62 years
If this is accurate, Robert has to be born abt. 1730. All the usual family names are there on the IGI you gave me, aside from Alice, as George, Thomas, Jane and Oswald are used repeatedly in my tree. Funny, if Robert's mother were Alice, that we don't see it again. I guess Robert's marriage certificate should give his father's name if I could find it. He married Jane Davison June 26, 1773 in Sedgefield (St. Oswald the Bishop likely as that is where he and Jane are buried) Peggy
