Marriage 1846 Louth - advice please
« on: Monday 19 September 05 21:11 BST (UK) »

Would a marriage record in 1846 include the names of the couple's parents, or fathers?

I have William Wood, b. 1824 in Little Carlton m Ann Jacklin b. 1829 in Claythorpe, married June 1846 at Louth.

Thanks.

You should get fathers' names and occupations but, if either was illegitimate, there might be just a blank space.
