Richard Dyble- Mariner
« on: Monday 19 September 05 22:11 BST (UK) »

I have him on his son, Robert's marriage cert. on 19.7.1854 at Littleham.
Can anyone find other traces of him?
Robert was also a mariner and I've found him in the 1871,'81 (on a boat at Southampton!) and '01.

In the 1851 census there is no Richard Dyble for Dev, and the only two Robert's were born in Norfolk one in 1819 the other in 1830,sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thank you again!
It's definitely "Dyble" on their and Clara's marriage certificates, as well as the 1881.
Old Richard Dyble's a bit elusive, though. I suppose he could have been anywhere in 1851 and there's no knowing where he was born.
Any Richard Dyble marriages anywhere in the 1820s?
