If you go to this site
www.lineagelincs.com or contact Jean Fanthorpe on lineage.lins@ntlworld.com
They are a wealth of knowledge on the Family, a few years ago the Fanthorpe clan had a reunion in Fulstow and they had a walk around the village looking at places the relatives had lived.

Hi there I have been researching his brother Jesse, born 1842 at Hallington. Have a reasonable amount of information about him (he emigrated to Australia in 1864), his brother James (emigrated to New Zealand) and Charles. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers Mark

Hi Dave I became interested in Edward's brother Jesse (bp 22 May 1842) as he emigrated to South Australia onboard the 'Tarquin' in 1864. He lived in Naracoorte for some years before his accidental horse and buggy death in July 1872. I have probate, inquest and other docs on him. His brother James emigrated with his family to NZ in 1874 or 1875, his daughter Rose Ann eventually emigrating to Sydney, NSW with her husband Angus Cameron. Together they ran a pub there. Angus died in 1912 and Rose in 1918. Edward's brother Charles is listed as coming to Australia onboard the 'Melanope' in 1878. I have found nothing further on him. There is probably too much information to post on a Chat Forum. If you give me an email I will contact you. Cheers Mark
