Hello
Looking for this family, I think this is my William & Joseph Fox who immigrated to Ontario before 1840,  is anyone connected and maybe shed some light on this?? Who are the parents?

Shropshire: Alderbury - Parish Registers, Hereford Diocese

25 Nov 1797 James
11 Aug 1799 William
11 Sept 1803 Elizabeth

Hi Caseyjo

I’ve been looking at some transcriptions* of Parish records for Alberbury (note the spelling) and can advise that James, William etc., are all children of William & Martha Fox.

The first date you mention (15 May 1797) is actually the wedding date for:

William Fox & Martha Thomas
Wit. George Reeve & T. Butterton

*The transcriptions were from books published by the Shropshire Parish Register Society in the early 1900’s.

Thank you very much,  I did find a John Fox born about the same year around the same place as William & Joseph in Ontario. Any indications as to who William and Martha's parents may be in the marriage record? Immigration records are very few before the 1860's here, most dont exist in Ontario, where would they have emigrated from there?
