Looking for those pesky elusive ancestors !!!

Thomas/Tom Davy married Ann Alexandra Sparrow. Their son Jack was born 27/02/1901, in Abingdon, Ox.
Any information on Thomas/Tom or Ann welcome in Australia.

Davy, Albert V abt 1891 Abingdon, Berkshire, England Son
Davy, George H abt 1890 Abingdon, Berkshire, England Son
and here they are in 1901 - wrongly indexed as Darcy - Court 11 off Ock Street

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the info on Thomas Davy, the second lot of info in the first post seems to be the one i am after because it has Jack Davy in it. I have Jacks birth certificate and the address corresponds as 11 Ock St in 1901. There is one sister to Jack that is missing her name is Violet, Jack was the youngest. Jack, Violet and I think Thomas, all came to Australia around 1920 and lived in North Sydney in the same street for years. Jack was my grandfather.

Yes I would like to go back as far as possible because there is no one left alive here that remembers anything more than Jacks Birthday and family members who lived in the same street.
I dont think people back 50 years were ever concerned about family history or where their roots came from.

Here is Jacks father Thomas from the 1881 census before he was married so with his mother & father Thomas & Elizabeth

Thos. Davy abt 1831 Yorkshire, England Head
Elizth. Davy abt 1843 Wiltshire, England Wife
Thos. Davy abt 1864 London Pimlico, London, Middlesex, England Son Nicholas, Berkshire, England
Joseph Smith abt 1820 Culham, Oxfordshire, England Lodger
After some searching I managed to find what I am pretty sure is them (with Davy spelt Davey) in the 1871 census -
In the Tower of London 
don't panic - it seems Thomas Davy snr was a soldier before he retired to Abingdon to run the pub
from 1871 St Botolph without Aldgate London - The Tower

Elizabeth Davey abt 1842 Wambrook, Wiltshire, England Wife
Thomas Davey abt 1864 Chelsea, Middlesex, England Son
I was pleased to find this because it gives an actual place of birth for Thomas Davy snr rather than just Yoprkshire (Yorkshire is a big county)
He is also there in 1861 as an umarried solder - the same birthplace given
