Hi Ruthie Can you give any more information? How do you know his age and birth place? Have you found him in any census? What were his children called? When were they born and where? We need to work back from some solid fact as Robinson is such a common name in that area and it would be easy to dash off along the wrong line. For instance Soulby is close to Kirkby Stephen in Westmorland whereas Dacre is in Cumberland or did you mean a house called Dacre? I shall be up there in a couple of weeks so could look for a property called Dacre in Soulby if that is what you meant. Andrea

I have just realised that this is covered on another post. Dacre is Cumberland - this is the Westmorland board. There is another Soulby near there. That makes sense now! Andrea

hi thank you for your reply. Thomas Mark robinson b Dacre cumberland abt 1823 his father was william robinson b 1795 soulby westmorland his mother was mary mark who he married in 1820 at dacre cumberland.
thomas mark married in prescot nr liverpool in 1862 to ruth greenall thomas was a stone mason they had children here in liverpool ada dau b 1854 mary 1856 frederick 1858 martha 1860 maria 1862 john 7 mths thomas mark 1869 I would be very grateful if you can trace for me family of thomas mark siblings and parents thank you again ruth
