Just thought I would let you know about the following transcription of the original
Strutt's Mill School Register for Belper. Transcribed by Caroline Densham

There are 3 registers, boys, girls and infants.

There are a number of Mary Spencers the most likely is
Spencer Mary  age 4   Father a Mason Living Long Row Admitted Apr. 1822 Left May18 22
reason for leaving Kept at Home.
Only you can tell if this is yours by matching with Census Info.

Hello Spendlove

   Thankyou so much for that info. I thought I may have hit
a complete brickwall with Mary, but the occupation of her
father has given me some hope,as I have possibly located
her daughter and brother in the 1871 census.

           All very much appreciated.
