4. JEREMIAH3 TIBBETTS (THOMAS2, JOSEPH1) was born Abt. 1761 in Kings Sutton, and died February 22, 1809 in Kings Sutton. He married ANN CARPENTER, daughter of JOHN CARPENTER and ANN BLAKE. She was born 1763 in Swanbourne, and died September 22, 1840 in Kings Sutton.
Notes for JEREMIAH TIBBETTS:
Jeremiah Tibbetts was from an old established Kings Sutton family. An earlier Jeremiah Tibbetts features in the transcriptions of the Kings Sutton Churchwardens Accounts 1636-1700.
Notes for ANN CARPENTER: There is a memorial plaque inside Kings Sutton Parish Church to Jeremiah and Ann Tibbetts and also one to an earlier Tibbetts family. Children of JEREMIAH TIBBETTS and ANN CARPENTER are: i. THOMAS4 TIBBETTS, b. Kings Sutton. ii. JEREMIAH TIBBETTS, b. Kings Sutton. iii. GEORGE TIBBETTS, b. Kings Sutton. iv. FRANCES TIBBETTS, b. 1796; d. November 15, 1802, Kings Sutton.
