Hi all

Sorry I haven't replied before this but mum has been poorly the last few days and my time has been limited.

Firstly I want to thank everyone who have once again come to my rescue and the fantastic work carried out on the piccie. RootsChat members always come through Cheesy

Jane, I had already printed off the the photos and showed them to mum who is a frail 83. Although she has very poor eyesight, they brought tears to her eyes, as it is the only photo of her on her wedding day a week or so before the war ended. She has asked me to pass on her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to each and everyone for your time and effort. Mum is absolutely thrilled with them.

Hello Jane and Meldrew

Thank you both for your thoughts concerning mum......... very much appreciated. We are hoping she picks up soon fingers crossed. Anyway she's said she's not ready to go yet...still has a lot to do before then

The photo does not do her justice...I can still remember her as a real stunner in her early 30s with her hair much longer. Dad was most upset when she had it cut short Angry
