Hi,

I know I've asked this question before but I'm looking for a Thomas Daniel in 1841. He was a collier born in the county and aged about 30. He would have had a son Henry aged 7 and a daughter Elizabeth aged 8 both born in the county.

By 1851 he had a wife Martha Daniel but I don't know if he was married to her in 1841 or if she was his second wife. If she was not married to Thomas she would have been called Martha Eccles. In 1841 she would have been about 25.

Thomas Daniel and Martha (nee Eccles) have been extremely difficult to trace. However  their children Henry and Elizabeth were born in either Poynton or Norbury.   
They were in Poynton in 1847 for the birth of another child and remained there for the  1851 census.

The family of Martha Daniel (Eccles) were in Poynton in 1841 and 1851 but there was no sign of Martha.

If anyone could trace these two people in 1841 I would be very grateful as that would give me a better clue as to whether Martha was the mother of Henry and more especially in my case Elizabeth.

A marriage or baptism for Henry and Elizabeth would answer my questions but since I can't find either the census would tell me if Thomas and Martha were married in 1841.
