Hi

Can anyone assist with any baptism information for a Joseph ward b circa 1800 at Ryton? Also a marriage circa 1826 to a Margaret someone?

IGI Batch P000841 has the baptism of Joseph Ward 21 Apr 1805. born 27 Jan 1803 to Joseph Ward and Caroline Robinson.
There is a marriage on the IGI between Joseph Ward and Margaret on 25 Sep 1826 at Brundall in Norfolk. If your Margaret came from Norfolk, this might be it. Her full name is Margaret HARPER.

I don't think the marriage is correct as Margaret also came from Ryton, Durham (unless they eloped!); the baptism sounds promising though as the name Caroline SUDDENLY appeared in the ancestral line and not a typical name in my family (e.g. a little girl baptised 1831 and buried aged two days)
