Looking for a marriage

Looking for a marriage of Peter Hogg b. 14/11/1829 Eskdalemuir Dumfriesshire to Elizabeth ? They then emigrated to Canada Their first child being born in Canada. Can anyone help
Since found family in Canadian Census they married in 1852 if that helps!!

This is our family in 1851 I have checked Scots origins for marriages with no luck. I have no credit with Scotlands People at moment but for Dumfries area there is nothing found.

I will keep trying to find them

Hope you have some luck. Have you tried searching on Rootsweb - worldsearch family trees. Sometimes I've been able to get information there. It's people that submit their family trees and you can search them & view them free of charge.

Looking at the Dumfriesshire detail at the link above there are no Eskedalemuir marriages in the records after 1777. Not sure if this is because the records did not survive or the parish merged. I don't knwo the parish. If I find anymore detail I'll post.
