Hi

Can anyone help me with finding William Press. He is on the 1851 census age 1, in 1861 he is 11, then absolutely nothing. No marriage or death. All the family are mariners. His father is Samuel Lone Press, mother is Elizabeth Newby Howard. William is born in Gt. Yarmouth.

This is from the 1881 census. Looks as though Elizabeth may have died and he remarried. Regards, Frances

Thanks for your e-mail, I had also found this William. It seems strange if he is a bricklayer, and everyone else was a seaman
