My nana and her friend Marj
« on: Sunday 25 September 05 09:56 BST (UK) »

Hello photoshoppers,
I have just discovered this photograph, taken around 1923, of my Nana, Ethel (on the right) and her friend Marj, down on Bondi Beach.  They would have been about 16 years old at the time.
Would anyone like to clean it up a bit - improve the clarity and contrast - and maybe even add a bit of colour?  The sun would have been so bright and the sea so blue, it's a shame to see it so grey now.
Thank you if you are able to help out.
Good luck!!

Prue

Thank you both, they are beautiful!
Meldrew I think you have Marj's hair colour down pat, I thought she looked like a redhead with those mad curls and freckly face, but with the auburn hair you've given her I think it's definite.
Thank you again!!  Kiss  Kiss

Nice photograph. Left as is but removed the little bit of damage, sharpened & reduced noise a little & improved the contrast.

(Been busy with some family stuff, but just thought I'd have a quick colour of this to get back in the swing of things)
