Oswald Meggison, brother to Robert Meggison

I have been reading some letters written in 1927 from England to USA to Meggison relatives.  In these letters, it states that Oswald, brother to Robert Meggison, who was born in 1802, in Haughton-le-Skerne, emigrated to Canada shortly after Robert did.  I cannot find any siblings for Robert at all.  His parents were James Meggison (son of Robert and Jane Davison) and Sarah Butrick who were married in 1802.  Can anyone help with this mystery?
