Hartill-Law or Law
« on: Monday 26 September 05 04:20 BST (UK) »

Looking for any information on William Hartill-Law, b.1835 Staffordshire. He left his family in England and went to Peterborough and started a business known as The Central Bridge Works. In the 1891 census for Peterborough he was with his second wife, Minnie. After 1900 he moved to Hamilton.
Very interested to know what happened to him as he is my grandfather.

Ducie,

Have you tried contacting the Hamilton Public Library?  They would have city directories, cemetery headstone transcriptions, newspapers on microfilm, etc.
