I'd be very grateful for a look up in 1851 for William WELLS in Beaulieu Rails, Boldre. He was born in 1778 and was buried in Beaulieu Rails in 1854.
Any other WELLS in the parish would be a bonus - possibly William b 1802, John b 1808 and Henry b 1820.

Hi David,
William WELLS lived next-door-but-one to my ancestor Anne HILLIER nee RAWLINS in Beaulieu Rails.
They were also known as WILLS. I have a Mary WILLS married 1842 Beaulieu. Any connection?

I have the Mary Wells born 1805, as shown in Comyn's 1817 census, as probably marrying James Rawlance, which is doubtless a variation on Rawlins. I'd be interested in learning more about the details of the marriage, as I'd assumed that it was earlier than 1842 as who I think is them in 1861 in Beaulieu had a son William with them aged 28, plus a daughter Jane 22. Was this a second marriage for either of them?
