I am hoping that someone can do a lookup in 1841 for
Sarah Ann Tinkler born St Ives abt 1828.
Until recently I thought she was Ann Tinkler [the name used on other census data] but on her daughters baptism record she is Sarah Ann.
cheers Janet

Janet
I have a Sarah Anne Tinkler, born at Hemingford Grey near St Ives, Huntingdon on April 11, 1823, the daughter of a labourer John Tinkler and his wife Virtue Tinkler (nee Tame). Could this be the one you are looking for?
I think, but have not proved, that she married a James Crocker (I don't know where or when). In the 1861 census, she was living with her mother, Virtue Tinkler, and her 1-year old daughter, Louisa Crocker, at Grays Inn Terrace, Holborn, London.
John Tinkler and Virtue Tame are my great great great grand parents. If we are related, I have some more information.
Regards
Steve Williams

Hi Steve Thank you for taking the time to look for this for me but unfortunately it is not the same person. I recently received information that she was born/baptised in 1827 daughter of William and Sarah Tinkler. I have a friend with access to ancestry.com who is going to undertake to find her. Once again thanks - pity there appears to be no connection at the moment as Hunts is not an easy place to reseach from OZ.
cheers Janet
