Andersons of Bethnal Green/Scotland

I have traced James Anderson born in 1851 and have the date of his father, William, marriage to Ann Hammond in 1838 but cannot find anything further on William.   Can anyone help?  There may be a link to Scotland at this point but I am not sure.

Do you have them in the 1851 census?

There is a William and Ann living in Bethnal Green HO 107/1540 folio148

They were both 32 and born in Norfolk
