Hi there
I would very much like to know who the parents were of this "stray" if possible.
My Millmans were all from Kingswood but there is a Hannah Millman bn Kingswood in the 1881 census aged 24 who I can't trace at all.
In the 1881 cenus she was at 11 Morpeth St, London married to Alfred Perkins aged 28 Carman bn Wotton Under Edge.
She would probably still be in Kingswood aged 4 in the 1871 census, presumably with her parents.
Can anyone help please?
Regards
criggy
PS I have now found a marriage for a Mary Millman possibly to Robert Grimes BMD reg Jun 1861 Dursley who could be Mary Millman below. In which case Hannah aged 14 (not 4) may be either a Grimes or a Millman in 1871. Can anyone verify this for me please...........

Hmmm.......... never was good at Maths at school
Thanks for that Tricia, much obliged. will scour my files now for Mary Millman.
Ah, think I may have her, dau of Joseph Millman & Mary (nee Wilcox) bn 1836. She was 15 in the 1851 census but no sign of her afterwards so Hannah could well be her daughter.
Many thanks for your help & goodness me were you quick - I'm most impressed
regards
