Tracing Macquire family for my husband Tim - we have found hhis great grandfather William Samson who married Lavinia Macquire from Northampton in1874.Lavinia was born 1850. Any further info welcome.

In 1871 Lavinia is 21, Assistant, b. Northampton in house of -
Edward G and Alice Benford/Bewford? Dealer in Be...lia Needlework + children Alice E and Florence M + 1 other Assistant Mary M Hillie? + 1 Domestic Servant Elizabeth James

May be easier with fathers name and occupation off her marriage cert -

Lavinia is in St Sepulchre, Northampton on the 1851.

Her father seems to be George (aged 40) mother Margaret A (aged 34 birthplace noted as Old).
