I have some information on CAMPIONs from Hinderwell, but I haven't been able to confirm it myself yet. According to this I am descended from Nathaniel CAMPION and Mary FOORD, who married there 7 Apr 1687. The only child I know of is my ancestor Thomas, b abt 1693, who married Elizabeth JEFFERSON 17 Nov 1726. I can't see your names in my file, but can you see mine?

I seen your post regarding Lythe/Hinderwell.
Have you been in touch with Sue (Aidansrest) she was looking for Harlands, from Lythe?
On my own tree I have Durham's from Lythe, and Richardson's Shaw's and Knaggs, in my tree from around that area.

I have a family tree of the Campions descended from this pair (Nathaniel C & Mary Foord). I am not directly descended from the Campions; but my direct ancestors the Holt family marry into the Campions on a fairly regular basis. So I know a bit about them.
Where do you fit into these Campions? Thanks for the reply. It's probably easiest if I direct you to my website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~arthurk/ - follow the link at the top of the page to the Rutter chart, and you'll see Isabella Campion with ref. R9, then follow back from her. Unfortunately I haven't managed to complete the family pages yet for that part of the site, but this will at least give an idea of the direct line.
The notes I have don't have anything on Holts, so anything to fill the gaps in due course would be welcome, please. And since it seems you may know more about the Campions than I do, please let me know if anything looks wrong.
