perhaps I should of mentioned that the road out of Shrewsbury is named Castle Foregate and this becomes St. Michael's Street which in turn becomes Spring Gardens and then Ditherington.

Me again

Richard's son Edwin was living at Castle Foregates when he married Anne Evans in 1853, her residence was St Julians Friars.
Richard and Edwin were both Writing Clerks.

Edwin went on to be a Station Master at Llanfyllin.

I found the map with a factory in St Michael's it is 'Old Series 1833-1838 OS.126' I just have a photocopy of the area.

Astley-Astley House...where my g grandmother was born in 1863...she died aged 96 in 1959 when I was 8...
Marton Middle............3 x g grandparents
Myddle..............3 x g grandparents
Hadnall.........4 x g grandfather
church names please...went to Astley last year.....tiny church ,I think St Marys.....any info appreciated...regards...Allan Wink
