James Jackson died between 1881 & 1891 in the Essex area - last noted on the 1881 Census as at 2 Harriet Villas. Leyton Low Essex - he was registered as a Chemist/Druggist and his age was 43 born in Yorkshire(I checked the York BMD - none of them were him). As a Chemist I would think he may have had something to leave to the family - is there a possibility that someone could check the Probate records? Truly would appreciate it. Thanks Viv
Hi Goughy - I want to thank you for the information on James Jackson - Druggist/Chemist of Hebden Bridge - I have other info that would seem to tye in here so I think you have "hit the jackpot" for me. Thanks. Can you tell me if Haworth & Hebden Bridge are near to each other? I am thinking of checking the 1841 of Hebden Bridge to see if I can find young James with a Father George. If I can then I have the correct James. I will also try for a Marriage of James & Elizabeth just prior to 1861. Checked for a death between 1861 -1871 but received 19 pages of them so I have a lot of narrowing down to do. Thanks again Viv
