Looking for husband of Mary Watkins, in 1881 Census age 41 b.Wellington, Head, Married, 2 Scotland Wellington Hill. Hubby could possibly be GEORGE WATKINS 68, Married Pauper Inmate Hereford Union Workhouse b. Canon Pyon c.1813. How can I make sure he's the right one? How is it he is in the workhouse when the family is still in the home?

I believe Mary to be my Great Great Grandmother. I also believe the George in question is the right one. He's the right age born in the same small village and has the same occupation as listed in the earlier census when he is with Mary.
Mary looks to be his second wife, his previous wife was also a Mary!
I've been doing an awful lot of digging in the last few days and think I may have gone back 2 further generations on the Watkins side.
I'll give you all I have on it should you want it.
