James Still & Margaret Ellis

Hi,

Im looking for any information on James Still b c1752 and his wife Margaret Ellis. I know they had at least 2 sons James and Robert (mine). They lived in Drumblade where their children were born, but i would like to find out who James parents were and where they come from and any information on Margaret.

If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks very much for that, its been a nightmare trying to find him as there were quite a lot in the Aberdeenshire area i didnt know where to start! I wouldve been going through the wrong ones!!

Hello Macduff

Your Robert was married to my gtx3 grandmothers sister. As the Still,s are a branch off my lot i havent delved too much just what i needed to know about Margaret Sim really and slightly beyond that (ive had to set a limit now to who i research ) and have kept notes re LDS site just in case. There is a chance that the Robert Still mentioned as witness on the OPR birth entry for one of Mary Geddes nee Sim children is yours. But as you know they dont give much away just names but as he was her brother in law it makes sence.
