Carsons of Enniskillen

Oral family history says that our g.g.grandmother, Mary Ann Carson, was born in/around Enniskillen in 1850.
She migrated to Australia from Plymouth in 1877 on the Hydrabad and arrived in Adelaide, South Australia in 1878.
Her father's name was John Carson. Apart from that we have no other information prior to her arrival in Australia.
From looking at your local websites, it seems there are still Carsons around Enniskillen.
If anyone knows of Mary Ann Carson or if anyone could suggest the best way to go about finding her origins, I would be very grateful.

This site shows Carsons in Fermanagh at the time of Griffiths Valuation of Ireland 1848 - 1864. Do you know the religious persuasion of the Carson family as this information will be of help to researchers here who may offer to assist you.
