I must express doubts about the "Owston" origin.  There is no one in my 1841 or 1851 Lincs indexes called LIMMING apart from a few (of non-Lincs origins) in Barnack near Stamford (but not in Lincs).

I suspect "Owston" is a mistranscription; most of the villages in Rutland seem to end in -ton.
