Looking for any information on this family- Alexander was my ggggrandfather.
The only information I have on this family is information regarding his son Robert's family, who died in Canada in 1850 (have no birthdate). Robert was married to Anne Robertson of Perthshire. Robert and Anne and their children immigrated to Canada about 1835.
I would also like to know if Robert had brothers and sisters who also immigrated to Canada as well family which may remained in Scotland .

I think your Robert was my ggggrandfather. He immigrated to Nova Scotia, Pictou County, Canada. He and Anne had 10 children. Robert's birthyear was 1802. I have the spelling of his last name as McIntosh and Anne's maiden as Roberson. Everything else seems to be the same. I don't have any information about Alexander, sorry.

Hi Countrygirl. Are you descended from Robert too? He had 10 children. They were
1 Mary Catherine
2 Margaret
3 Alexander Masterton
4 John Arthur
5 Charles
6 Donald
7 Anne
8 Robert
9 James
10 Jane Isabelle
I'm descended from John Arthur, how about you?

I haven't really done much with it for the last few years. It was just by chance that I read your first posting. I have quite a bit about John Arthur's descendants. I don't have much, other than names for his brothers, sisters or their grandfather, Alexander. What would you be interested in?

Hello once again.. would appreciate anything that you would like to share with me... I have a fair amount of info for each family members but always there is missing information. many blanks to be filled in..
