Could I please request a look up for George Crowhurst who was a blacksmith born Brenchley and married to Elizabeth who was born in Ightam. In the 1861 census they are in Old Ba_y, Ightam.  Elizabeth was born in Ightham and they had several children there.There is a son George age 24 who must be from a previous marriage as Elizabeth is only 9 years older than him. George jnr must have been born before Sep 1837 as I cant find any records for him. I would love to knock this brick wall down!!!

This is an old request so you may well have resolved this by now but, if not, there is a marriage for George CROWHUST 1848 Ightham to Elizabeth MORGAN which would fit quite well http://www.familysearch.org

It looks like George was possibly previously married to a Jane:

1841 Oldbury Hamlet, Ightham

George CROWHURST 40 blacksmith j. b.Kent
Jane 30 b.Kent
Jane 11 b.Kent
Sarah 9 b.Kent
William 6 b.Kent
George 4 b.Kent
