unusual christian names
« on: Sunday 02 October 05 23:30 BST (UK) »

My great grandfather X 4 had the name Fenn,
I'm sure this was a surname of his fathers grandmother or great grandmother, as there are lots of Fenns in the area I'm covering,
His nephew was called Cross, which I'm also sure was a surname,

its definately not on his mothers side as far as I know as Ive got back to 1650 through his maternal route, Ie his mothers mother, then her mother etc
had anybody come across these names  anywhere else? whilst doing research?
