I only joined last night so would like to let you know what my surname interests are:

Lancashire: Stephenson
Durham: Bevil

Hi,
One of my ancestors was Dorothy Goodwin, who lived in Shepshed but was born in Waltham on the Wolds I think in the 1700's if that's any help?! I would like to found out more about her. Her Husband was William Hudson.

I have only managed to go back on my Goodwin side (my mothers paternal line) to 1859.
I honestly don't know if there is a connection but I have made a note in my notebook and if I find any link at all I will come back to you.
