John Bowman Wills Marriage

He was married to someone called Mary Ellen ?.  How would I find her surname or would I have to get the marriage certificate.  He is found on FreeBMD Cockermouth 10B 1122.  I know she died at Cliburn in July 1942 and it looks like they married in 1907
