Fishing vessels and apprenticeships
« on: Monday 03 October 05 21:54 BST (UK) »

I've been looking for my 2 grt grandfather Edward Anderson for ages now.

I have a possible link from the 1861 census where there is a 19 year old Edward Anderson apprentice on a vessel called the Planet at North Killingholme,

Is there any way I can find out more about the vessel and where would the apprentice records be held?

Many thanks for any help.

Barbara
